chairman wrote: Hetmyer is being sent to bat at number 5 or 6 depending on match situations and by his own admission, that’s an aspect he is still coming to terms with each and every match.
“The role of a floater is NOT something that I was accustomed to really. I am still working towards getting better with each and every game. What I try to do now is to ensure that every game, I have to hit a six. At least, one six. Working towards that at moment,”
Hetmyer, a former U-19 2016 T20 World Cup winning captain said, aware that he hasn’t hit too many big shots
in 72 T20 games, he has played "

Those 5 x6s in his last at bat were spot on
Then he was benched as a reward ....hahahaha

nice analysis ~

Delhi's bowling unit most economical :
Delhi Capitals are the only team with an economy rate below eight this season (7.90). In their first seven matches,
they have also taken the most wickets (51) and conceded the fewest boundaries (120).
In the tournament so far,
six bowlers have taken five or more wickets at economy of less than eight and average of below 20
Three of them are from Delhi - Kagiso Rabada, Axar Patel and R Ashwin.
Their other key wicket-taker Anrich Nortje has taken eight wickets at economy of 7.21 and average of 25.25.

The Capitals lost Rishabh Pant to a hamstring injury, and swapping Alex Carey for him as wicketkeeper
meant they had to rest Shimron Hetmyer just as he was hitting his straps.......

Form and team balance are both delicate matters in a fast-paced league where teams
have very little time to recalibrate their plans, and the Capitals
know that despite having bagged five wins in their first seven

games the margin of error is very small with many teams behind them on the points table
beginning to look a lot more settled in recent times.

14-Oct-2020, 10:00 AM : 30th Match, Dubai ,

Delhi Capitals vs Rajasthan Royals

Capitals chose to bat

Tushar Deshpande is playing, replacing Harshal Patel.
That's their only change
NO Hetmeyer, which I think on a Spinners wicket is a MISTAKE !

Like I said :

0.1
Archer to Shaw, OUT, bowled'im, first up, what a beauty. Lovely seam position, just short of a length, outside off.
Shaw pushes at it, and the ball hits the seam and jags back in to take the inside edge onto the middle stump

PP Shaw b Archer DUCK (1b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Archer replaced by Ben STOKES ! Nice Welcome to IPL lol

4.2
Stokes to Dhawan, FOUR, cracking shot. Dhawan is in some mood today. Stokes pitches short, and wide
and Dhawan is on the front foot and cuts in well in front of point
